Our Story
In May 2017, our founder, Mrs. Masiyiwa, was given the scripture Matthew 6:10, which became the cornerstone for Global Intercessors (GI) a worldwide network of intercessors.
Our mission is built on the powerful synergy between prayer, fasting and practical action. Our work in prayer must be connected to tangible social impact. To achieve this, Global Intercessors (GI) serves as Higherlife Foundation’s (HLF) spiritual heart.
HLF translates the focus of our prayer programs into real-world initiatives. For example, popular campaigns like our 30-day, 90-day and 7-day prayer events, the Pastoral Care program and Pfumvudza are some of the programs born from GI’s prayer focus and jointly implemented by HLF to serve our communities
Word-based Prayer and development
We promote the application of Word-based prayer and development approaches through our Annual Bible Reading Programs Ministry in Children’s Homes and Communities, such as Mbare (Harare, Zimbabwe), during our three-days and Three-Nights Fasting and Prayer retreats.

- Mobilising people for Prayer movements– 90 Days of Prayer; 7 Days Prayer Campaigns for Lesotho, Burundi and many other nations.
conferences & events
We support, partner with, and organise prayer events with local, national, and international faith-based organisations such as Birthing a Nation, National Day of Prayer, Vessels of Virtue, EFZ National Prayer Programs, Mothers of Africa, Gather25, and the AU Women’s Ministry.
training
We facilitate and support the training of Intercessors and students in Prayer, Intercession, and Spiritual Mapping through the weekly GI Training Program with Mrs. Masiyiwa and the three-day and three-night prayer and fasting.
community development
We partner and support community Transformation Projects/Programs through:
- Hospital, Prison and other Institutional Outreach Programs.
- Promote or initiate dialogue amongst Professionals and other like-minded people.
