Petronella Maramba serves as the Assistant Head of Global Intercessors, the Executive Director of Higherlife Foundation responsible for culture, faith, and support, and a Trustee of Higherlife Foundation and Delta Philanthropies. Her journey with the patrons, Mr. and Mrs. M., began in 1996 as the Volunteer Director of their first organization,
Capernaum Trust, which provided scholarships and mentorship to orphaned and talented students. Over the years, she has held numerous leadership positions, including Director of the
Christian Community Partnership, an organization focused on evangelism in rural Zimbabwe.
A trained lawyer with a career spanning 37 years in the legal sector and rural development with organizations like the World Bank, Ms. Maramba holds Master’s degrees in both Development Studies and Education. Her commitment to intercession is foundational, deepened by her experience living in a
24/7 Prayer House, where she learned the significance of praying for Israel. This spiritual grounding fuels her passion for helping young people, especially disadvantaged girls, understand the power of faith and education to transform their lives. She is also a mother and a grandmother to two grandchildren.
